Connecting Blu Ray player to internet

I have a wireless network, using a Linksys Wireless N, model 310N router. My Blu Ray player is the Sony BDP S550. The computer next to the Blu Ray player is HP Slimline with wireless 802.11 b/g adapter and nVidia nForce 10/100 Ethernet card Here is what I want to do.

I want to use the Ethernet port on the computer as an access point so I can connect the Blu Ray player to the network through the computer with an Ethernet cable without running a cable to the router. I know this is possible because I did it previously when the Blu Ray player was in the other room next to a computer running XP. The Blu Ray player is now in another room next to a computer running Vista, but I must have missed a step in doing the configuration.

In Network Connections, I highlghted the LAN and Wireless connections and created a bridge, but it doesn't seem to be working. The Blu Ray player is not connecting to the internet. What am I missing?

Thanks.

We have not worked on Windows (or any other OS) bridge/access point configurations but the first post in this forum should give you some hints. Good luck.
