Is this Crucial Gizmo usb memory fast enough

Hello, cool product! Would this memory http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=JDOD16GB-730 be fast enough in combination with my sony bdp-s1000es for 1080p playback?

Also, how does one implement updates after the purchase of a disk?

It should be. Our observation is that larger flash memories (>= 8GB) are pretty fast. Please also read under heading "Streaming HD Movies" on page http://www.rayinblu.com/compatibility-and-limitations .
