Has my disc been shipped?
Hi,
Been member for 9 weeks but no disc as yet? Can you tell me if it has been despatched and if so when? Not trying to be pushy, just want to know as my postie is not the best! Many thanks. TvTed2

g00ner, your player Samsung BD-P1500 requires ROM for BD Live. We will ship you our production version coming in about 4 weeks (it will be BDROM not BD-R like beta discs).
so has everyone's disc shipped? I place my order back in nov.

Your player, Samsung BD-P1600, does not support BD Live from any recordable disc, just from production ROMs. The versions we have shipped so far are all on recordable media and they do not work on Samsung players. Your disc will be shipped when we receive our production ROM discs around May 15.
Since my Samsung BD-P1590 is basically the same as the BD-P1600, I assume that is why I have yet to see a disc. Would it be possible to put something on the order page to indicate the reason for the delay and an estimated ship date? The current order status that simply says "Order created." is not very meaningful.

We will send to all who signed up for beta production discs when they are available. Those discs will work on your Samsung player.

Any update on my disc? just painful to wait for week after week for the disk.
We apologize for the delay. Every time we find an issue during testing, we have to repeat many tests on many players. Many of these tests are related to videos which can take 30 min or more for each test resulting in days and days of testing. We appreciate your patience.

We apologize that testing the "Release Candidate" has taken longer than expected. We will ship later this week or early next week.

The reason your disc has not been shipped is because Samsung players do not yet have BD Live fully functional. As a result, Rendr will not do anything worthwhile on Samsung players. We are working with them but only they can fix the player issues.
Ordered the disc on Jan. 15.
Any idea on the ETA?
We are looking at shipment of "Release candidate" early next week.

Where does it ship from?
I just ordered mine today to Alabama, but I'm impatient! Haha. I'm really hoping this is the solution I'm looking for. Just want a ballpark idea of when I can expect to have this sent to Birmingham, Alabama.

We ship discs in batches and correct problems with the previous batch before we ship next. We are planning the next batch early next week.
