International beta testers

I just wondered if you will be shipping the Rendr disc internationally?

I am in the UK and would be keen to test this out with my system (I signed up for the beta a while ago, but have heard nothing).

why not distribute as an ISO - would that not be better for International users ?

We are working on releasing electronic copy of the disc. In order to use the electronic copy, you would require a Blu-ray burner (DVD burner will not work) and a blank Blu-ray media.

The disc is the same for all players. But since we have not yet achieved the same level of performance from all players and are still testing some other players, we are first shipping to customers with specific players. Also, we don't yet have Mac version of the server code released, therefore, we haven't yet shipped discs to them.

Well I've got a Panasonic BD-35 (UK Model) and I'm running Windows XP, Vista & 7 (release candidate) on various machines. I also have an Intel Atom based NAS running Linux Fedora 11 (Vortexbox). I've just changed my profile info as I originally had it down as Linux, changed to Windows if that helps?! It would be ideal to run it from my NAS but I'm more than willing to try on all my systems! =)

From your answer should I take it that there are different discs for different players/setups?

I have just changed my config to Windows 7 64bit and a LG BD370 Blu Ray Player as I have just changed my OS and bought a new Blu Ray Player.

Will that make any difference to when the disc is shipped ?
