LG BD370 and Edimax 7206apg access point can see internet but can't see media server

Hi

I have an Edimax 7206apg acccess point configured wirelessly. It has an IP on the range of my router, dns and gateway is router ip address. LG BD370 connects to edimax dynamically and is also being given an IP within the range of the routers IP range via DHCP which points at the router. Edimax is in infrastructure mode.

The LG BD370 connects to the internet fine, it can access YouTube and download firmware. However when I run rendr it cant see the PS3 media server software on my PC. I've also tried Windows Media server too. The other thing is I cant ping the edimax from my PC and the edimax and BD370 does not appear on my LAN. If I go into network and sharing centre and click on internet or full map the Edimax doesnt show up.

However I can see the PS3 media server and windows media server from my wife's laptop so that seems to be fine.

The issue I seem to be having is that my PC can not see the Edimax or LG BD370 and vice versa and hence rendr cant see the media server.

Any ideas anyone ?

varkanoid,
Could you please this clip http://mirror.bigbuckbunny.de/peach/bigbuckbunny_movies/big_buck_bunny_7... to see if this works on your setup?

got it work work eventually, had to play around with media settings on my PC. However I get it streamed okay, video fine but no sound.

varkanoid,
Rendr needs Rendr edition of PS3 Media Server found at http://www.rayinblu.com/ps3mediaserver. In addition, the released version of Rendr displays "not found" message by default till it finds a server (which is being changed in the upcoming version).

I also forgot to mention my router does not list the Edimax in the DHCP client list either, but my PC and laptop are there. Its very strange.

(using WPA2 on wireless)
