Production disc PAL failure

I've finally had a chance to test my production disc with my PAL Panasonic BD-35 player. Unfortunately on the initial test screen the PAL (720x576) footage only comes up with a blank screen again (with sound)! The HD & NTSC footage appeared to work ok however.

I also need to contact the author of Vortexbox who did have a version of PS3MediaServer working (on my linux fedora based Votexbox) with my beta disc, but this now appears to be out of date and will not update when I try - hopefully he'll be able to update it, so I can test this properly.

Hopefully this will be of some help to you, when I can do some more in-depth testing.

Our PAL testing is done on players other than Panasonic since no Panasonic player in the USA supports PAL format. But other players like Samsung, LG, Pioneer, Memorex, and HP support PAL format and the test clip was tested on those.
1. Did beta disc play PAL from server? (There was no initial test in beta.)
2. Can you try a PAL movie clip from the server?
3. Can you make sure your Blu-ray player's firmware is up to date?
4. Can you let us know your IP address so that we can look at your logs?

Just to give you a little more information my player is now directly wired into my router via Cat5e cable (which is how my vortexbox is also connected) and I have tried power cycling the player with no change.

The SD card I'm using is an 8GB card, which worked when testing with the previous beta release.

I've only so far tried the initial test screen which appears on the 1st use of the disc. I haven't yet tried using the Windows PMS (PS3MediaServer) client, as all my video media is on my vortexbox.

I've sent the Vortexbox author an e-mail regarding PMS on my Vortexbox setup.
