Install Java from here if not already installed.
Install and run PS3 Media Server. No configuration is required. Additional details can be found on the Getting Started page.

To create source of the PS3 Media Server - Rendr Edition

Check out the PS3 Media Server source from Subversion repository at http://ps3mediaserver.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ps3mediaserver.
Download PS3 Media Server - Rendr Edition modification bundle. This bundle is released under GPL v2 license.
The modification bundle contains a patch file and binary resources. Apply patch to the PS3 Media Server source and copy the binary resources to the source root directory.
