I think I found a bug with the screensaver on the Rendr disc. I'm using a Sony BDP-S550 in 1080P over HDMI.

If I leave it for awhile, the screensaver will kick in. Normally, the screensaver works fine and fills the entire screen with black, while the ray logo floats around the display.

However, if I watch a 720P video, and then quit back to the menu and leave it for awhile the screensaver only blanks a portion of the 1080P display. I presume it is blanking 1280x720 worth of the display since that's about what it looks like.

Sorry if this is answered somewhere, but it seems the search feature is broken or nobody has ever asked about thumbnails (returns no results).

I installed PS3 Media Server and loaded the Rendr disc for the first time today. It works quite well (aside from a long delay before starting videos) and it generated thumbnails for all my videos.

Many of my videos have an introduction for the first minute, which results in all the thumbnails looking identical. I found the setting in PMS which allowed me to change the thumbnail position to 300 seconds instead and that worked well.

When will I get my disc? I paid over a month ago and have no disc and no status after numerous attempts to contact you!

Is anyone else having this problem and lack of responsiveness?

Our mail server has been acting up in the last few days making it difficult to contact us. It is fixed now and we are receiving all mails now.

I signed up for the beta on March 13. I have yet to see a disc. Reading the forums I learned that my player would not read the burned discs used for the beta, but I would receive a pressed disc as soon as they were available. The estimated date on the pressed disc was mid May. It is now the end of May and I still don't have a disc. When will I get the disc? Why is there nothing indicating the status on the order page? Having an order page that lists the status as "order created" for over 2 months is meaningless. There should be some information there indicating what is going on.

I have the Sony Blue Ray player working and the disc is working. I can see my computer with the PS# media player running and my computer knows the Blue Ray player is there. All I can get on the player using the remote is the various folders and drives on the computer. What I want to do is look at the Netflix movies that are being streamed to my computer. I haven't been able to do that. What do I need to do?

I seem to have a problem in that the player refuses to accept the 0.20 version of the disc (first one I've had) - the player simply ejects the disc - no error, no message.

My first thought was - is the disc region encoded....since I'm in the UK on region B - could this be the problem ?

I've made an ISO of the disc and burnt this to a DVD - when inserted this is ejected with the message - 'Wrong Disc'.

Hi, I got my disc today (thanks) and tried it out immediately on my bd370. it hangs on the boot screen though. it just displays a screensaver going "loading" with a logo on top. but nothing else happens. what to do?
